Emma & Gary
Emma and Gary tied the knot within St Elizabeth's beautifully landscaped gardens and sweeping lawns. This old convent in Plympton St Maurice offered the perfect backdrop for a memorable day.
The weather threatened grey misty skies, but everything cleared by 2 o’clock for a lovely sunny spring day with a lively breeze.
Emma stunned in a white satin Princess-line dress with a bejewelled star detail. Gary and his brothers wore single breasted suits with matching blue ties and ivory button-holes. Emma’s bouquet featured matching roses and turquoise/purple orchids. Other outstanding outfits were worn by Hermie – a black and white pleated knee-length dress and bolero jacket and Hazel – a green and black kneelength dress with a unique pleat that her daughter unkindly described as ‘too short’!
We took full advantage of the gardens after the ceremony, however there was no way we could squeeze all the guests into the white bandstand-gazebo.
