Ally stunned everyone when she made her first appearance in her scarlet strapless dress with bodice covered in sequins and long multi-layered skirt. Ally and I were ably helped by her best friend Debbie all day. Pete, along with stepson Jak looked suitably dapper in their morning coats, waistcoats and troublesome cravats. Bridesmaids were daughters Gabrielle and Ellie in gorgeous long white dresses.
The ceremony and reception were at The Astor Hotel on Plymouth Hoe, although we had a short visit to The Waterfront pub as it was such a humid July day.
